I’ve been really digging this band for the past few weeks. Smart indie rock with Dave King (of Happy Apple and many other bands) on drums.
…looks like Love-Cars could use a fresh website… I do know a person or two.

A Hilarious Canadian Folk Humor Band of Righteous Might and Power. “The Mountie Song” had me rolling on the floor. Check out their weblog, too.
Props to my old roomie, Leave it to Peter himself, for the heads up.
They steal slideshow reels from garage sales and write music to them. I saw these guys open for Guster in Portland, and the experience was amazingly dreadful.
Now they’re playing for Gel 2004.

It comes out on May 4th. Other details are sketchy. In the meantime, pick up mppa’s (With Audible) from Polyvinyl.
