What is with people who use their chainsaws at 9:00 in the morning on the weekend?

When I lived in Duluth there were always chain saws or hammering going on early in the morning, no mattter which end of the city I lived in. It’s a northern Minnesota thing. How else is one supposed to pass away their free-time?
I suppose it’s no worse than writing websites at 2:00 in the morning… at least when you’ve got a chainsaw in your hands you’re actually doing something.
